Recently the Lancaster Newspaper (LNP) featured an article on beer and cheese pairings, “What Ales Ya: Getting Cheesy” by craft beer fan Dan Nephin. The article kicked my taste buds into overload and in my mind I began pairing some great Lancaster County cheeses with our Black Forest Brewery beers. Creamy textures, sharp flavors or smoky goodness, doesn’t matter to me, cheese and beer is the perfect combination! I am SO looking forward to developing our menu around sustainable produce, meats, cheeses and spreads from the Lancaster County when we open our brewery and tasting room to the public!
